Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Take downs, sweeps, chokes, holds, arm and leg locks. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques rely not on strength but leverage and skill, and make it a great sport for everyone.

Strikes, kicks, punches, blocks and some stand up grappling – the “Science of Eight Limbs” involves using your hands, elbows, knees and shins to strike an opponent and defend yourself against them.

Welcome to the London Fight Factory!

We're a vibrant, friendly and professional martial arts gym that has renowned instructors who specialise in teaching Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Thai Boxing (Muay Thai) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

Our students range from complete beginners to those wishing to fight competitively and lessons are demanding, rewarding, fun and informative. We also organise regular seminars with world champions such as Wanderlei Silva, Ricardo Vieira and Alan “Finfou” Nascimento.

European Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships 2010

12 fighters went and brought back 10 medals - 2 gold (Aroninha and Keith), 4 silver (Austin x2, Brendan and Claudio ) 4 bronze (Pawel, Pharis and Sarah x2). Congratulations to all the team and instructors who went to Lisbon, and thanks to Abel for his fantastic coaching.

Now let's get ready for the next one... OOOOIIIEEEEEE!!!!

Christmas and New Year – Opening Times
Saturday, 05 December 2009
Our last regular session before Christmas/New Year will be on Tuesday 22nd December. We’ll then be closed from Wednesday 23rd to Sunday 27th December.

On Monday 28th December there will be Boxing from 12.30-2pm and one BJJ mixed session from 2.30-4pm.

On Tuesday 29th December there will be one BJJ mixed session from 2.30-4pm and a Muay Thai session from 4.30-6pm.

On Wednesday 30th December there will again be one BJJ mixed session from 2.30-4pm and a Muay Thai session from 4.30-6pm.

We’ll then be closed from the 31st December to the 3rd January with our regular timetable starting again from the 4th January.

 
Sarah and Camilla – we’re dead proud of you

Well done to Sarah and Camilla who competed in the World Professional Jiu Jitsu Cup Trials this weekend. Both are blue belts but also faced purple, brown and black belts in the competition, and did an amazing job, with Sarah winning silver in the open class. Bring on The Europeans!!!!!
 
MMA Tournament

Congratulations to Andy (Geezer), Crazy Joe, Ken (Eddy Calmo) and Jeremy (Ninja) who all took part in the ZT Amateur MMA Tournament last weekend. The team won three gold medals and everyone put in truly great performances and deserved to win. Thanks to all who fought and supported them and made it a great day out. Bring on 2010!

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Congratulations to those BJJ students who were promoted to the following belts at our grading yesterday.

Blue Belts: Big Mike, Camilla, Cotonete, Doctor, Dude, Kay, Kojak, Polish Mafia and Shrek Purple Belt: Bad Boy Brown Belt: Uncle Austin

Well done also to all those who took part in the Kent Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open on the 14th and 15th November. 23 competitors fought and won 16 medals: 4 golds, 9 silvers and 3 bronze. As always, you all did us proud - and a special mention to Camilla who brought home gold and fought brilliantly.

MMA Congratulations too, to Diego ‘Ceara’ Vital who won his fight at the Cage Fighting Championship on the 15th November. He won his last battle in 24 seconds so we reckoned he couldn’t get any quicker, but he proved us wrong by winning this one in 16 seconds. OOOOIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
