How long have you been training?
Almost 3 years.
What’s your record?
5 - 3 - 1 (Win – Loss – Draw)
What’s your specialty?
I don’t think I could tie myself down to one, but I guess my style is to always come forward and look for the finish.
What’s your favourite technique?
If it’s not a standard double leg takedown then it’s a swift kick to the head.
Why do you want to be a fighter?
It’s the most demanding thing I’ve ever done. The first MMA session that I had I just instantly fell in love with it. And I’ll be damned if I don’t like the attention as well
What do you do when you’re not at the gym?
Just work, eat and sleep – I don’t have much time for a social life.
Who is your idol and why?
It’s hard to pick just one. Some fighters that I aspire to be like are: BJ Penn, Wanderlei Silva, Georges St-Pierre (of course – I’m Canadian!), and Shogun Rua. All great athletes and true professionals.
Nickname
Ninja, and around London Fight Factory I’m also known as Mr Canada.
